YERA DAHORA
Yera has a graduate degree in film directing from the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema (Brooklyn College-CUNY). In New York, she interned for casting director Jennifer Venditti (Euphoria, Uncut Gems) on projects such as The Curse and The Sympathizer.
She completed a screenwriting training at Roteiraria in a course taught by Zé Carvalho, as well as a workshop with Joan Scheckel (Transparent, Little Miss Sunshine).
She Directed the short films Non Ducor Duco, Acts of Crisis, Goodnight Sun, Second Date, and Twenty-Something. She also directed an interview series for the YouTube channel Enfrente and the music video Só Quero Seu Amor by Bárbara Eugenia (YouTube/Vimeo).
She has experience in feature films, having worked as a third assistant director and casting assistant on national and international productions. Among them are the films Zoom (O2 Films), Pedro’s Crossing (Buriti Films and Bionica Films), and Sense8. Participated in the film Alvorada, about Dilma Rousseff, as an assistant editor. She has film reviews published on the website Hysteria.
